Open Town Founder/Ryosuke Abe
With the philosophy of "tackling high-impact issues with high-innovation technology," Ryosuke launched the world's first cryptocurrency and blockchain-based urban development project, "Open Town."

Co Founder, Head of strategy, Token Economy/Takaaki Ansai
Takaki joined the operation of the cryptocurrency exchange "BTCBOX" in 2014 and was responsible for expanding trading services and fundraising as COO of BTC Box Corporation. Since 2017, he has been an executive officer at Coinage Corporation. In 2022, he shifted to building NFT and token economies, and joined Open Town in June of the same year.

Co Founder Lead Engineer/Nikolai Arsentiev
Nikolai studied cryptography at university. He contributed to the development of platforms such as "Airtripp" and "Airfunding" and modernizing cloud infrastructure since 2016. He began writing blockchain code, such as Solidity, in 2018. He specializes in Ethereum and Polygon. He has been responsible for blockchain development in the "Open Town" project since 2022.

Co Founder Community Lead/Lourdes Sanchez
Lourdes was in charge of community management for Airfunding. Since 2022, she has been leading the Airfunding business and the "Open Town" project community team.

Mizuki graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School in 2019. She has been active as a creator for artists and advertising agencies since her time in school. In the "Open Town" project, she works on NFT art production, UX design, and website design and development.

International Development Consultant/Akiko Nishibuchi
Akiko has experience as a Japanese language teacher in Syria as a member of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, and then as a development project and international NGO humanitarian support expert for JICA. She has led various types of projects, including community development and public sector organizational strengthening in Bangladesh, Ghana, Morocco, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as emergency humanitarian assistance for Syrian refugees and internally displaced people in Iraq and Jordan.

International Development Consultant / Risako Imai
Risako completed her Master's degree in Urban Planning and Development at the University of Manchester in 2003. Since 2004, she has been a development consultant, working on various projects such as rural water supply and project evaluation (infrastructure development, water, health, disaster prevention, etc.). She has a passion for Africa, having worked in Zimbabwe, and specializes in southeastern Africa. She has been living abroad since her studies, and currently resides in the Netherlands with her family.

PR director /Elena Tsukada
Elena engages in Public Relations while leading a multi-location lifestyle as a digital nomad (a person who works while traveling the world using IT). After working for a foreign advertising and PR agency, she established ELENTO LLC in 2020 to offer PR services for both domestic and international clients.
